Preparation of GIS Base Master Plan for Golakganj under Dhubri district, Assam

This assignment comprises of preparing a master plan of Golakganj under the direction of Town and Country Planning, District Office Dhubri, Assam which includes Town area under the Golakganj Municipal Board Area and nearby villages close to the Golakganj town. The scope of a master plan confines to the broad proposals and allocation of land for various uses such as residential, industrial, commercial, recreational, public, and semi-public, etc.

Key Tasks Achieved

• Geo-referencing and digitization of cadastral map and physical features
• Preparation of Base Map and ground truthing
• Data collection- Primary and Secondary
• Land use Survey of the demarcated area (Golakganj Master Plan Area.)
• Preparation of GIS based Existing Land Use Map & Existing Utility Map
• Proposed land use map, Zoning map, Circulation map, Public utilities map
• Preparation of Master Plan Report
• Zoning Regulations
