On October 25, 2025, more than 100 experts, scholars, business leaders and policy makers gathered at “The 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Management and Business”, themed “Business Management for Vietnam’s Sustainable Double-Digit Economic Growth”, organized by the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB – VNU), Hanoi. The attendees have exchanged their insights and discussed various solutions to enhance national competitiveness and promote sustainable economic growth in Vietnam.
The event featured multiple sub-sessions, covering a wide range of topics such as business strategy, management models, human resource development and managerial practices.
The discussion focused on the importance of educational foundation, business management capacity and the connection between academia and businesses for sustainable development. Experts emphasized that sustainable growth must rely on intelligence, academic institutions and human capacity, not just on exports or infrastructure. A solid educational foundation plays a fundamental role in equipping workers with essential skills to adapt to future technological changes.
In addition, providing students with practical experience, promoting collaborative research, as well as encouraging business leaders to participate in developing training programs are crucial to ensuring the harmony between academic knowledge and the practical development needs of the Vietnamese economy. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the connection between academia and businesses.
