About: The key objective of this assignment is to adjust the Dong Ha Urban Master Plan to 2030, and Vision for 2050, based on harnessing the advantages of the strategic location of Dong Ha City, maximizing all available development potential and minimizing negative impacts on the economy, environment, and social cohesion.

The 2030 development plan and 2050 development vision are guided by:

• Development framework based on Sustainable Development Goals
• Build on ADB’s Green City Approach
• Adopt the City Development Strategy Approach as developed by Cities Alliance and adopted by ADB
• Develop Dong Ha as a Smart City

Specific tasks included:

• The GIS-based survey, mapping, and analysis of the existing situation of the City
• Develop the Green Urban Development focus, bringing water resource management, infrastructure planning, and open space/ recreational planning
• Develop in detail for the Area Based Programs with project-specific action being identified and proposed in this Smart City Plan
• Develop the “GreenStreet” character linking open spaces and water bodies as part of the effort to make Raipur a more attractive, environmentally friendly, and liveable city.
