The project involves the formulation of a GIS-based Master Plan for Lunglei Town under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme.

The master plan aims to guide the sustainable urban development of the town up to the horizon year 2045, incorporating risk-informed strategies, spatial growth, and socio-economic development.

The plan will be developed using GIS-based base maps, satellite imagery, and drone technology to capture accurate spatial and attribute data. It will cover all relevant aspects of urban planning including land use, transportation, physical infrastructure, social and cultural facilities, industries, employment, environmental hazards, and governance structures.

Service Provided

The team (consultant) will provide comprehensive services for the formulation of the Risk-Informed Master Plan, including data collection, GIS-based mapping, urban database creation, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
