Green Building and Transportation Week 2025 Conference and Exhibition

Venue: Vinpearl Landmark 81, Ho Chi Minh City
Hosts: VNU University of Economics & Business

As Vietnam accelerates its commitments to green growth, emission reduction, and energy transition, the construction and transportation sectors are facing both significant opportunities and pressing challenges.

  • Green buildings remain limited: By 2024, Vietnam had only around 559 certified green buildings, despite rapidly rising market demand.
  • Construction emissions under pressure: Building materials account for 74.3 million tons of CO₂, equivalent to 13% of national emissions.
  • Urban transport challenges: Transportation contributes about 18% of CO₂ emissions – Achieving the target of 1 million electric cars by 2030 requires urgent investment in infrastructure and stronger policy frameworks.

To address these challenges and pursue the Net Zero 2050 goal, the Green Building and Transportation Week Conference and Exhibition will provide a vital platform for policymakers, business leaders, and experts to connect, exchange insights, and share sustainable solutions.

Vietnam Green Building and Transportation Week 2025 Conference & Exhibition, themed in “Innovation in Sustainable Construction: Promoting Green Building and Transportation Development”, will be chaired by the Ministry of Construction and co-organized by the Department of Science, Technology, Environment and Construction Materials in collaboration with IEC Consulting. This event will take place on October 29, 2025; at Vinpearl Landmark 81, Ho Chi Minh City, and serve as a key forum for in-depth dialogue, driving positive transformation toward sustainable construction development.

Through 01 Plenary Session and 04 Conference Session, the event will bring together over 1,000 delegates from government agencies, international organizations, experts, and enterprises both domestic and international — to exchange experiences, technologies, and green development models. The sessions aim to assess current realities, identify barriers, and propose actionable solutions to promote the widespread adoption of green buildings in Vietnam.
